I'm writing this from Hanna's dad's appartment in Manila. We arrived here in the evening two days ago. The first thing we did was to go to a hotel for a very tasty (and plentiful) buffet dinner. Yesterday (Sunday) we had a full program for much of the day: we went to the christening of a colleague of Stephan's, followed by a lunch, and then we went on a tour of various places, including their old house from over ten years ago. After a two-hour nap in the afternoon, we were ready to go out for dinner. We went to a bikers'/expats' bar where we watched Formula 1.
Stephan is, of course, back to work today. Hanna and I slept in late, had a leisurely breakfast and are just now thinking about going out and doing something. We're very much enjoying being somewhere where we can unpack everything and make ourselves at home!
